The powerbank that shipped with the Stratux is a 4000maH unit. What sort of longevity is everyone getting in real world use? Mine barely lasts over 2 hours which seems pretty short. What's eveyone else getting?

OK< so I'm getting about what you are. Going to have to replace the battery or get a backup. That's only enough for about 1 student's flight before it's dead. I'll fly up to 8 hours in a day!

I would suggest iFly look at offering an upgraded battery option (obviously for more money) to those pilots who fly more than 2 - 2.5 hour trips. Or perhaps the option to purchase an extra battery at checkout. Add-on sales!!

Connect it to ship's power, via the lighter plug? I'm guessing that you fly in different aircraft, not just one?

Mine is wired into ship's power and it's seemless.

If the planes you fly have a cigarette lighter socket, just buy a good-quality adapter and plug it in there.  Anker and Aukey both make good adapters, including ones with mulltiple USB ports if you have multiple devices to power.
