I'm using IFly GPS with X-Plane 11 (11.41). If I file a flight plan in IFly GPS will it go to X-Plane or will it try to file an actual real flight plan? I would expect filing flight plans for flight simulators would not be welcome by the FAA.

The flight plan you file will in fact be very real. Not that I've ever accidentally filed for a 51 nm VFR xc flight in an F-14D Super Tomcat from Ft Worth Spinks FWS to Bridgeport Muni XBP.
