I think it would be really helpful to have a filtering option under NRST to select nearby ATC frequencies.  This would be either the appropriate TRACON frequency, where such exists, or the ARTCC frequency.  For pilots who need to pick up an IFR clearance enroute, or just to VFR flight following, this would be exremely helpful.  It would also be good to include the locally overhead ATC frequency for more airports in the airport information box, even if that facility does not provide approach services.

The NRST filtering option is available in a number of competitive products.

Agreed. This would be very helpful.

+1 on the ATC freqs.

Also, would be helpful to see FSS freqs.  They're on the map, but you have to be in VFR map mode, and often have to zoom out and pan the map around to find them -- lots of head-in-the-cockpit time.  And the smaller the device, the harder to find.  Some of you flatlanders may say "just use 122.2", but there's a lot of different (RCO) freq's for FSS in my area out of necessity.

Thanks for the continued great suggestions! We have something like this on the roadmap, but we haven't figured out if it's going to live in the NRST menu or somewhere else just yet. Since we're actively looking at it, let us know if there's anything you love/hate about the other implementations out there.

I think NRST is a good place for it.
