Yes. This is true. However, all that text tends to cover up other close targets.

Is there a way to reduce the size if the font?

Brian

Did more testing on the Uavionix/IFLYGPS combination.

I am noticing that when a target is showing N number, there is a double target. Sometimes right over each other and I have to zoom in to separate them. However, when we are in the anonymous mode we just see one Ping number.

Only those of our flight with IFLY are seeing this anomaly.  Those with Stratux and Garmin are not seeing this.

Do you suppose this would show up if I log the flight and send it to you?

John M

I am waiting for a reply from Uavionix.

Brian

We discovered that our Uavionix units were behind on software updates. we downloaded the newest and will test to see if the problem is resolved.

OK. We worked out the double target issue with Uavionix/IFLY GPS.

I was using the GPS provided by Uavionix. My friend was using the GPS from Grand Rapids unit. However, that unit was sending at the wrong baud rate.

Latest tests are passing.

So..no issue with either Uavionix or IFLY. Both are great.

Double target update.

We still occasionally see double targets, we now suspect that is when at lower altitudes aircraft lose an ASDB tower and/or radar interrogation briefly and then a tower is seen before there is radar interrogation.  This lag seems to cause double targets.

You can see that one target has lost lock because the target is moving along the line that typically leads the target. On the other target, the line continues to extend in front of the line.

Then the other target disappears.

All speculation on my part.
