Very sorry to hear about this and agree with your assessment on future actions. a class-action is probaly a lengthy waste of time.

A friend of mine who did buy one told me more about what happened....I am getting this from him, so I don't know the primary source.
The FAA would not certify the GPS chip. The FAA was willing to work with them and wanted to see thier production line. Rather than open the doors to inspectors, they preferred to close down.
Many perspectives on this. On one hand, it is a private business and they have a right to do so. On the other, they are leaving a LOT of folks in the lurch after they invested in the Navworx product. Very disappointing.
John, what do you think you will go with now? I am leaning toward the wing-light adsb out that is going to be approved in Feb 18 (for certified aircraft). Available NOW for experimentals right here. Anyway, I do feel bad for you and hope the NEXT one you buy has better backing. Best wishes.
