Has there been any movement on getting Garmin to open up the new format for iFly? I’ll be equipping for ADS-B in June and have chosen the GTX 345R from the limited options available for my plane. Given this, I’d like to extract maximum value from the device, which includes ADS-B in. My co-owner uses Foreflight, which does integrate with the GTX 345R and therefore he’ll have no further need for our Stratux.

The short answer is, no. We opened another dialog about it last year and they weren't interested. They probably don't want us competing with Garmin Pilot on an even playing field, or they may have some exclusive arrangement with FF (we know how much they love those).
