Can we add the tower freqs for the airspace alert box?

A tower frequency would only be associated with class D airspace. What about class A, B, and C that could include lots of airports or controlling authorities or other airspace such as MOA's, Restricted, Prohibited, etc.? You can see the tower frequency with one click of the class D airport.

I'm not sure I understand that answer. When you are flying around and you approach a class B,C,D airspace do you not call the tower for entry?

I understand the class B maybe a bit more complex but is it not a start? Class C is 90% of the time tower controlled.

Displaying the main tower freq for the B,C,D airspace it would be a start to display the tower freq.

Does ifly really alert you before entering class A?

No, you call approach control for class B or C. You would be IFR for class A. Only class D is the control tower the controlling agency. iFly GPS alerts for all airspace if you have airspace alerts activated. As I said before, all you need to do is one click on the airport to pop up the tower frequency. Before you talk to the tower, you would have already looked up the ATIS frequency. I don't think your request makes sense, but I'm just one user here.

I am an Air Traffic Controller at a class C tower and you are not 100% correct!! It is location dependent. Altitude and LOA(Letters of Agreement) between the facilities dictate the procedure.

Thanks for yor input.

Can this feature be added?
