I noted that the New York sectional and both the N.Y. and Boston TAC's were missing from the latest Faa update (2 May 13). I wonder if is because of the bombing? - Jim Williams

The FAA published a notice in March that the New York VFR charts would be delayed (attached). No reason given. We've extended the expiration date accordingly on these charts, so they shouldn't be noted as expired in your iFly if you get the latest version.
