sequencing with Skyradar

Hi! question.wich device to start FIRST Ifly Or Skyradar?

Hope somebody Know if it make a difference, I am using an 'L' model with a USB cable

Christian,

For the SkyRadar, it is best to have the SkyRadar up and running for about a minute or so. Then make sure the iFly 700 is connected to the SkyRadar. Boot the iFly 700 up and enter navigation. You should see the Weather Mode go from Pre-Flight to Live, Live No, Data or Live, Idle.

SkyRadar units sometimes behave a little different depending on their driver and build. Another possible option is to have bot the iFly 700 and the SkyRadar up and running, then connect the two device with the USB cable. If this is not working give our support department a call.

No problem with the name, the reason i inquire is because of what i read on some of the threads in the forum, and I wanted to be sure, Now another question, the only place I can 'see' weather is in in that Mode,(weather) ,NOT in sectional, Correct. we have such nice weather lately, I had no chance to actualy use the skyradar, Ho! well, somebody as to have it nice

Christian,

No worries. It's plug and play but with so many variations, the key is the order to plug. As for the Weather, currently the NEXRAD is only on the Weather Mode. This is something we have on our list to look at. Weather on the Charts is on the wishlist. Also, NEXRAD while on Wi-Fi is also on the list.

I won't tell you how beautiful the weather is here today. Don't worry, it's Texas so it will change before I finish this post.
