terrain awareness

I cannot seem to find how to activate the small terrain awareness window at the bottom of the navigation page that it shows in the manual. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.....Thanks

I think you are refering to the profile instrument. Find the instrument set up menu and you can add it there. This is also where you can set up different instrument schemes.

I don;t have my ifly with me so I don't have the specific menu path. If you still can't find the instrument set up page I let us know and someone will help you get there.

Mitchell: Try Menu > Settings > Customize Instruments >Add, then select from the list to add the terrain profile instrument to your screen. As with all instruments, you can place it anywhere on the screen, and be sure to cycle through all the possible sizes - I think there are six of them, or so - to find one that suits you. After you have added it and closed the menus, then you can tap the instrument to enlarge the display to cover most of the screen (this is not configurable) and to set the range it covers.
