Also we will be supporting external AHRS devices that can provide attitude information. If such a unit is attached we'll include an Artificial Horizon instrument on the page.

Thanks,

Walter: You guys are "Simply Amazing!" The 5-pack sounds great as does the AHRS driven 6-pack. I can see it now . . . all these guys with glass panel cockpits will have TWO iFly 720's mounted in their cockpits - one showing the moving map or approach plates with terrain warning, and the other 720 to display the 5/6-pack of steam gauges. ===Ralph

Brian - You probably have already thought of this but I'll mention it just to make sure that it is considered while you are writing the software. Six instruments get a bit small on a seven inch screen making them hard to read. I've seen other programs where if one instrument is taped, the other five instruments disapear and the taped one fills the screen. One more tap brings the six-pack back to the screen.

Another thought - Maybe it would be better to be able to zoom in to one instrument and then pan around to see the others.

Jim, Ralph, and others... thanks for the vital feedback early on, it helps us to get things right with less work and recycle. I like the idea of "toggle zoom on tap" (tap once to zoom in, tap again to zoom back out), similar to how it works now for our Vertical Profile instrument.

Walter,

Is the protocol for the AHRS communication going to be available? I'm working on an AHRS that I was going to pipe into a small PC, but if I could go into the iFly that would be good.

Tried the wifi upgrade to vs 7 on my 720. By morning said was complete but will no longer connect to wifi. Now when press on Ifly airplane icon get blank screen then press screen and get long error "esectional.exe NullReferenceException..." Figured upgrade went wrong so made an upgrade package on USB but when try update keeps trying to use wifi and dont see where to update from USB, Tried plugging USB in with 720 on and off. After a few attemps tried a factory reset and turning wifi off but no success yet. Thanks for advice on what to try next.
