Here is a list of the Instruments with a brief description for the benefit of any others. I highlighted the VMG for easy reference.

Instrument

Description
Course Tape
Course Tape
Active compass tape and ball. The needle indicates the current track and the ball represents the target waypoint.
Gnd Speed
Speed
The current speed of the aircraft relative to the ground in KTS, MPH or KPH. (Note: This is not Airspeed.)
Track
Track
Indicates the current path or track over the surface of the Earth directly below an aircraft. True or Magnetic. (This is not heading, and will likely vary the aircrafts physical heading on account of winds.)
Altitude
Altitude
GPS altitude measures the current distance from your position to estimated Sea Level. (This is not the same at Pressure Altitude and will likely vary from your pressure adjusted Altimeter.)
Bearing
Bearing
The compass direction needed to fly in order to reach the next target waypoint.
Turn
Turn
The degrees of turn (Left or Right) needed to fly to the next target waypoint.
XTE
Cross-Track Error
The distance the aircraft is off course to one side of the course line. (A negative XTE value is left of centerline and positive XTE value is right of centerline)
VMG
Velocity Made Good
The current velocity in the direction of the next waypoint. KTS, MPH or KPH
ETE: Final
Estimated-Time-Enroute to Final
The estimated time remaining to the Final destination at your current speed or VMG.
Flt Duration
Flight Duration
Elapsed Flight Time calculated once aircraft exceeds 20 knots.
Time
Current Time
Local Time for the set Time Zone. GPS Signal required.
(Note: Time Zone changes not corrected at this time.)
Dist: Final
Distance to Final
Distance from the current position to the Final Destination. (Can be in Knots, Miles, Kilometers)
ETE: wpoint
Estimated-Time-Enroute to Next Waypoint
The estimated time remaining to the Next Waypoint at your current speed or VMG.
Dist: wpoint
Distance to Next Waypoint
Distance from current position to the Next Waypoint. (Can be in Knots, Miles, Kilometers)
VST (fpm)
Vertical Speed To Target (VST)
Target rate of climb or descent needed to arrive at Pattern Altitude for the next airport in the flight plan, or the final destination. Instrument appears when the VST reaches a defined rate of descent.
Vert. Speed
Vertical Speed
Calculated rate of climb or descent in feet per minute (fpm).
Final
Final Destination Name
The Name, Identifier or Lat/Long of the Final Destination.
Waypoint
Target Waypoint Name
The Name, Identifier or Lat/Long of the next target waypoint.
ETA: wpoint
Estimated-Time-of-Arrival to Next Waypoint
The estimated time of arrival at the Next Waypoint based on the current Speed or VMG.
ETA: Final
Estimated-Time-of-Arrival to Final
The estimated time of arrival at the Final Destination based on the current Speed or VMG.
Vertical Profile
Vertical Profile
A moving profile view of your current position relative to the terrain, obstructions and airspaces ahead.

I thought it might help some others out, just in case.

The VMG, can also be further explaned by this scenario. If you fly a perfect circle around your waypoint, you would have a 0 VMG. Now if you fly a spiral, gradually getting closer to your waypoint, you would have a VMG value somewhere between 0 and your actual ground speed. Finally, if you are flying directly at, (bearing and track match), you shoud have a VMG that matches your ground speed.

Just a nit picky comment: Dist: wpoint and Dist: Final should read NM instead of Knots:

Distance from the current position to the Final Destination. (Can be in Knots, Miles, Kilometers)
