Hi Guys.
I'm not part of the Beta team... so I'm just posting here.
I used EFB (Public DL) yesterday for a flight, and I have a couple things that pop'ed out right away.
1) I know that there is a colored dot over the airport showing weather... but for an older guy, trying to fly... it can blend in. When I clicked on the airport, I noticed that the top of the "Wx" tab is no longer colored and listing the weather. I like the quick visual info if it was MVFR, IFR, or VFR. Can we add it back?
2) I've only offically been using iFly GPS for a couple months... but I'm not loving the button layout in EFB. Yes, it's less cluttered on the screen... but it feels like I have to search, or use more clicks to do the same thing. And on that note...I'm not loving the buttons that come up on the top of the screen where they use to be right in the section that was open. I understand that is a "I will get use to it" kind of thing... but it's just somthing to consider. (just giving feedback)
3) I love that it outputs a flight plan... but under temp... it's just "???". How is it calculating airspeed in the printable flightplan without it? (This may be a bug since my weather was updated)
OK.... now for a question. I'm all for migrating to the newer system since it will be the one better supported... but will there be an update for my 740b?
Anyway.... just some random thoughts.
