Let's say there's an accident at an airport, and the runway is closed, so the airport creates a NOTAM for the closure. How long will it take for that to show up in the airport info on iFly?
There has been a crew working on filling cracks in our runway. There have been NOTAMS for every day for almost a week. The one today was supposed to be the last, and it expired at 1pm. About 3pm, I noticed that there were still barricades across the taxiway, and iFly on my phone showed no current runway closer. When I asked at the FBO, they said the crew needed more time, and a new NOTAM was created to last until 4:30pm. I was looking at iFly and told them it wasn't there. They checked whatever system they enter them in, and said it was active. They also checked an FAA site for NOTAMS and said it was shown there. I never found it in iFly, and by the time I got home it would have expired, so I wasn't surprised to not see it on any of the normal NOTAM sites.
