I just watched the Avidyne webinar on the 10.3 software release. I really didn't see much of anything useful for the everyday user. There is additional display of ads-b products (cloud tops, Lightning) which is good but a no-brainer, as the products were always there. But what I really wanted to see was flight plans transfers from others.
Especially IFly.

The reason the Avidyne webinar didn't say anything about it is because the Avidyne side has supported that capability for a few years already.  It's up to iFly to tie into that, now.

That's kinda what I was hinting at. That's why I posted on the AP forum, and not the Avidyne page.

If iFly could get flight plan sync from certified navigators iFly would certainly become much more useful and easier to use as a supplemental moving map/flight plan tool. It is a pain to update iFly every time my route of flight is amended.

For me, I'm not really focused on flight plan transfer from iFly to a navigator, rather auto route display (magenta line) and updating from a navigator to iFly.

Wifi course data from an IFD would be great, better would be sending the route info to an ADS-B iLevil device which then would provide air data (TAS/ baro ALT), attitude, traffic, weather, and flight plan/course line info to iFly. Yes this would take some coordination with iLevil, but I suspect it would not be too difficult from their end to pass through data for wifi broadcast.

Having said all this, flight plan support with Avidyne would be a good start.

we're aware and it's on our very short list. I'm friends with a few folks on their team and they've spent some time at our office. it's coming.
