ipad and 740b not 'sharing flight plan' No answers found in forums

No idea why this stopped working. I've used it for quite some time even with previous 720 with no issues. Last few months - no bueno... nothing happens at all after selecting share with local devices.

I've updated SD cards numerous times and updated ipad numerous times - next to eachother ... same day/time. I don't typically remove the 740b from the plane.

Am I missing some kind of setting/trick?

There have been other posts from users having trouble getting flight plan sharing to work with iPads. I'm pretty sure there's a fix for it, but I don't use iOS devices and am not familiar with what to do. Brolin should be able to help you out.

ok good... I've been so confused and sometimes frustrated. Good to know a fix will be on the way. Very useful feature for longer/complex flight planning (from phone/ipad to 740b).

Flight plan sharing to my iphone/ipad/740 works for me but it is quirky. What works for me is when device w/plan your wanting to share is open, choose flt plan/more options/share this plan with other devices. Sometimes the application on the iOS devices has to be restarted in order to receive incoming acceptance and or stop/start sharing - it works for me but the auto share feature does not. It's like one needs to kick start it each time.

Edit: It will also plan share an existing plane on the recieving device and give one the option to overwrite.
