So glad you missed out on a midair.

Were you using the new app with voice warnings or still with IFLY atthe time?

I am also enjoying voice traffic alerts.

I was using the other app with voice alerts.   the ipad is strapped to my knee, sort of outside of the normal field of vision.   Having voice alerting is indeed very convenient.

I was not as fortunate, but did survive a midair. Both of us landed safely.

I found the photos in some old files. I'll see if I can post them here.

My left tire left a skid mark on the Barron's rudder.

This caused my Avid Flyer to invert at a 45 degree angle 500 AGL. A split S allowed me to pull out in time.

So anything I can have on my aircraft to prevet this is welcome

Another benefit of the vocal warnings is that all occupants hear the same message so you have more Mark 1 eyeballs looking for the threat.

Did this request just die on the vine or will we hear something on voice alerts during OSH?
