I don't use the 740 B with my Z2 headphones.

I have the input on the headphones plugged into my phone or tablet.

Hah!  What a great idea! It took me forever to figure out how to match the audio impedance of the 740 with three other devices that were all plugged into the aux audio input of my intercom. The 740 was overdriving everything else. In the end I had to add a small audio amp between the 740 and the intercom to get a useful signal. If I'd thought of plugging the 740 into my Zulu at the start, all the rest of that fooling around probably wouldn''t have been necessary.

John, I've never been in a mid-air, but I've come closer to other aircraft than was comfortable, mainly because it was a surprise to both of us. Also, a friend's SeaRey was eaten up from behind by a faster airplane when both were carrying Young Eagles. My friend and his passenger survived, but the others died.

After that I decided to make my own SeaRey easier to see--added a wigwag flasher to the landing lights to augment the wingtip strobes.  The forum doesn't seem to like videos, but here's a frame of one, showing the wig but not the wag:

The next step is to make the airplane more visible from astern and I'm currently trying to get a firm ruling on whether a white strobe on the back of an airplane, pointing aft, is legal.  So far I haven't found any rule that prohibits it--nor any rule that promotes it, either. But knowing the FAA, there probably is one, however obscure it might be.

I have 3 Whelen comet flash strobes on my plane 2 wing lights ant the tail is an integrated tail nav/strobe. If you don't have the strobes on or the strobe fails you still have the tail nav light. Been on the plane since 2001.

If ForeFlight can do it I'm sure the IFLY staff can handle it.

Today a Cherokee Pilot stopped to thank me for showing him that he could get vocal traffic from the Foreflight app he has been subscriberd to.

He just bought the cable that goes from his tablet to his BOSE input jack.

He was extatic!

He said he had just pulled out of the thangar and was warming up when he got a vocal warning of an aircraft was on final.

It felt good that I could help and told him I have been waiting for over a year for the same function with IFLY.
