Rats... I am thinking of buying 2 for my American AA-1 Yankee restoration project to eliminate the vacuum system.

That's terrible news. I was seriously looking forward to ditching my vacuum system and buying two of them. No way to make this happen with iFly? Seems like a good fit...

UPDATE from uAvionix:

Yep, it can accept the NMEA GPS 4800 or 9600 to open up the GPS HSI and GPS Nav Data on the unit.  Basically a CDI, no vertical nav component.  I believe your existing serial output will support the needed sentences as it. Your NMEA via serial for the iFly 700, 720, 740, etc should work as it.
