I’ve been reading about the ifly 740b and am wondering when ifly will update their product to their next generation. I read where someone asked about the form function for the ifly 760. I realize this information may not be available but some insight on the product cycle would be helpful. Does ifly update this product on a annual basis?

Thank you

I don't think they have a defined cycle.  The iFly760 is likely just a number someone (perhaps me) assigned to the future model.  The original was an iFly700, next was the iFly720, next iFly740/iFly740b.  It just seems logical the next would be the 760.  It seems they were at least 2 years apart, perhaps more.

It seems they upgrade the platform when a useful feature becomes available.  As I recall, the 700 didn't have WiFi, The 720 did, neither had an internal battery, and the 740/740b does.

It's anyone's guess what the 760 will have:  Bigger capacity battery?  Bluetooth?  XM weather capability?  Faster processor?

I'm just as curious as you.

Note that iFly also runs on iOS, Android, and Windows, so users have quite a bit of flexibility in choosing a device of their own preferred platform and form factor.  I began using iFly on a 700 and stepped up to a 720, but once the Android version was released, I have been using tablets as my primary iFly platform.

And, the IOS version works great. I've been using an iPad Mini 4 for a couple years and I love it.
