New sketch option slows screen pan

Noticed that when trying to pan across my VFR chart on my TAB A tablet, the movement of the map is jerky.

Found that if I go into the sketch option and then go to PAN on the right box then the panning is very smooth.

I have no use of a sketch mode so how do I drop back to the earlier version?

There are no provisions for dropping back to an obsolete, no longer supported version of iFly GPS. I think AP would rather resolve any issues with their currently supported version.
