Questions about my (admittedly older) 520

(1) congrats on the new synthetic vision. Wow! I am assuming this is way too much for my 520 to handle. Correct?

(2) do you all have an "upgrade"/ rebuild available to install the internal battery that is now being offered with the new 520? The smaller 5-inch works best in my plane, so I do not need to upgrade to the 700's.

Many thanks for your help. I enjoy the iFly 520 a lot more than the Foreflight I have installed on my iPad. But I am a belt-and-suspenders type of guy while flying ....

Why don't you put iFly GPS on your iPad. It works great.

Nelson, correct - 520 doesn't have enough horsepower to support Synthetic Vision. We do have the ability to replace the battery in your 520, just contact our support team for details.
