Don't see you listed as a Beta guy. How is it that you have the SV already?

John

Hi John,

Indeed, I am NOT a BETA tester and I sincerely hope I have not overstepped any boundaries issued to BETA testers about the program or SV.

If I have done so, I will be happy to remove any information or photos I posted.

As you can see in my multiple posts and photos, I am overwhelmingly positive and enthusiastic about SV and I hope my posts have only helped those who wish to fly with it. I have been waiting for SV for about 10 years, so imagine my joy in seeing this being built-in at no additional cost into my EFB of choice, IFLY!

Regards, Mike

Once I get AHRS fully installed and working (which I think I am pretty close right now) what is the best way to position the STRATUX in the cockpit, or does that not matter.

I usually have it resting on my dash...I would imagine when you calibrate what a level plane is, moving it or hanging it from the side of the cockpit might be problematic?

Just wondering....

Mike

I sit mine on the glare shield pointing straight ahead toward the nose of the airplane.  You'll need to decide that before you calibrate it so you can tell the Stratux software which way it will be pointing.  I also have the antenna pointing straight up toward the sky for best reception of ground stations.

Very good to know - thank you! I will do like you and from now on, aim it forward. Mike

I did as you suggested and it seems to be working like a champ - big thanks!
