Be nice if we could toggle airspaces in 3D on the synthetic vision, as translucent overlay with B, C, D, MOA's, and TFR's each having a different color.  And *maybe* weather?

I thought you guys were going to do highway in the sky implementation, with boxes, glide slopes, and everything.

Many of the features you describe are in development. Brian has been working extremely hard on the Synthetic Vision upgrade and the refinements needed to ensure proper operation across all electronic platforms. When finally released, this upgrade will have been well worth the wait.

Received and email this morning from Adventure Pilot stating the synthetic vision was on apple products. Not on my ipad mini, or I just don't know how to set it up

Good morning, Gilbert.  The Adventure Pilot newsletter is just telling you that synthetic vision development, which has been going on for many months in beta testing for Android devices, has finally reached the point where it has been ported to Apple devices for beta testing.  So it's not quite ready/available for public release, but it has reached a major milestone in beta testing.  Once the nuances of Apple hardware as well as the iFly hardware platforms has been tested, the public version will be released.  iFly has been very hard at work developing a premiere synthetic vision experience, and I believe you will be very impressed.  I have absolutely no insight into their release schedule but like all other aviation products, the best time for major releases and announcements is around Sun-n-Fun and AirVenture.  So I would bet on a late March/early April release timeframe.

Just flew a BETA version test and am REALLY IMPRESSED.

I found most features to be incredibly helpful and intuitive  - simple to use, and seamlessly integrated with my current IFly program. BRAVO!

If this is just the BETA test, I cannot imagine how good the final version will be.

This is a major breakthrough for IFly - thank you for all the effort on this - it is simply amazing!
