Thanks Jeff, for the pic post instructions. I 'll  try that when i get back to a desktop rather  than this  mobile. Up date on the original wx data. Flew this morning and all was up to date.  (6 min old )Did look at the adsb status page at everything checked and detail page which again looks normal.  Maybe it all just needed rebooting. Both echo and ifly. Thanks all.  I do notice that when " tower idle"   !  , the status check mark dissappears on the status page. And Goes to dots.

The left one  indicates no towers at that time but there was plenty of time  when  it was receiving 2 or 3 towers  like the one on the right .

At least I did learn how to insert a pic .  However  poor quality it might be. !  Thanks Jeff

Just spitballing here, but if it happens again check the time on the 740 for accuracy.  I've owned a 700, 720, & 740 and I remember they can get unpredictable if the time is incorrect.  For a while I & others noticed the 740 would boot up thinking it was around 2:30am until it got a GPS lock, and even then it might not correct itself to the proper time.  Perhaps (this is the spitballing part) the iFly clock was around 7am and still had weather data from that timeframe in the weather folder, so it displayed it (maybe the 740 was powered up around 7am for flight planning?).  The more current weather and images from 4pm were maybe deemed invalid by iFly (they were from the FUTURE!) and therefore not shown.

Ha, I just noticed in your pic that the 720 time is 7:11am.

Bingo.

Hey Jeff, good find!!  That was right there in front of us all, even made pictures of it and  we couldn't see it.   So the Ifly  720  actually was  stuck  the 07:11 am  time slot and  ignored  more recent data.  Because all indication was that the more recent reports were  being received.  Since the ifly  gets its time off the GPS about all one could do is reboot the ifly.    In this case the ifly was NOT rebooted, only exited NAV app which was  later restarted but obviously the time remained  incorrect.  Good Find Jeff ,I will now  remember to look for that  if things look fishy.   In this case the Pic was worth the 1000 words.
