Flight today  at around 4pm  indicated  wx data  from ECHO  adsb was -412 minutes old! ( about 10 hours)  ie  the 720 was displaying wx data from  around 7AM this morning which look to be correct for that time of day .  It  appeared not to update during the 1 hour flight from (3Pm to 4PM) .   The  ECHO was receiving traffic and the 720 was displaying traffic  real time.  All appeared to be  OK with both the ECHO and 720.  Why was this  WX data so old?  every time I think about canceling my XM Wx  on the 396  something like this  shows up.  the Garmin 396  XM wx was right on the current wx  for the day.    I made a pic of the  "about, Connected device" and  reports appear in order .  My Question is : (1) is there some action i do to  update wx, ie pilot error,  (2) is the echo receiving wx reports , (3) is the  720  displaying the current  reports correctly?  or (4) was that  the most up to date  wx that ATC had or was transmitting?    I did reboot the 720  with no change in the  wx HISTORY .   I will try to attach the poor  quality pic of the connected device page and  another that shows what I was seeing on the  720.  Any ideas  on issue or knowledge on the  where the issue resides. no luck in uploading pic  send me text at 7708two three34two6 and I will send  you  three pic

Are you sure you were receiving a ground station?  Did you have a check mark next to Metar/TAF and Nexrad under the Map Layers Menu?  Did you try rebooting both the Echo and iFly?

Yes was recvn 2 and sometime 3 towers. Didn't look under the page with the check marks, good point.  Did  exit the application( nav)  and  restart  but didn't power down and reboot the 720.   Didn't rebot the echo for the reason traffic  repts were completely normal.  Send me a text and i will return the 3 pic i took

Dennis,

Start a reply.  Make sure "Rich Text Editor" is selected above the top of the text box.  Click on the "Image" icon in the 2nd line of icons, just right of center.  It looks like two small mountains with the sun rising above them.  When the "Image Properties" box appears, click on the "Upload" tab along the top.  Click "Choose your file", and select the file from your computer that you want to send.  Click "Send it to Server", click OK, and it'll upload to your message.  Attached is the "Image" icon.
