Hope you find your answer, but I suspect it is "no." The feature list at https://www.iflygps.com/STORE/Product/subscriptions/annual-data-subscription suggests that.

Besides, I'd be surprised if a VFR-only subscription included the ability to directly load instrument procedures.

It kind of does suggest that, but I would expect airways are available at least. Also, loading of airways is a bit wonky if there's an airport with the same 3 letter IATA ID as the VOR ID. I'll detail that in another post.

Why don't you ditch Flight Deck Pro and go with iFly GPS 100 percent.  It is a beautiful product and has everything a VFR or IFR pilot would ever need.  It runs on Android, IOS, and Windows platforms.  If you could see the beta version that will be released soon, you might decide iFly is definitely the way to go.

The problem with airways above is with iFly. Jepp and Avare don't have this issue.

There's no reason for me to dump Jepp FD Pro. First, it's provided to me at no cost. Second, it has all the charts I need and has a great vector map for Enroute. A while ago they added a VFR mode in the vector map, too. Apparently, we may be getting vector airport taxi charts soon as well!

I have no doubt that iFly is a great product. It's not perfect, as no software is. I'm trying to evaluate whether I want to spend money on something I don't need. Avare can display ADS-B as well, but iFly does it better. If Jepp FD Pro did it I would just use that.

If I was operating my own personal aircraft and didn't already something provided I would use iFly without a 2nd thought. It seems mostly optimized for VFR and mid-performance aircraft.

Hi Sodbuster,

Welcome to the iFly GPS forum!  For a tablet or phone, the VFR Subscription supports loading airways - but not SIDs, STARs, approaches, etc. - you would need the IFR Option to do that.

Hope this helps,
Walter
