I am presently using my iFly 740's USB port to transmit NMEA data to my fuel computer. I am interested in the Ping ADS-B Receiver for iFly due to it's compact size. However, I note it requires a USB connection.
- Is the USB connection simply for power, or is the PIng not wifi-enabled and needs the USB connection to transmit data to the iFly?
- If the USB connection IS required for data, can the iFly 740's single USB port be split with a splitter cable or hub so that I can continue to transmit NMEA data to my fuel computer AND receive data from the Ping ADS-B?
Thanks,
John
