Will the iFly 740 read a 128 GB USB 3 flash drive?

My guess is no--because my 740 reads an iFlyUpdatePackage.zip file from smaller USB 2 flash drives, but not from a SanDisk iXpand 128 GB USB 3 Flash Drive. (The iXpand works both with my Mac and my iPhone, so I often carry it in my pocket. It has two connectors, USB 3 and Lightning.  https://www.sandisk.com/home/mobile-device-storage/ixpand )
