Any chance AP would consider adding a page locator to the top of the forum pages as is found at the bottom of multiple page threads?  I generally follow threads for a while so I'll click on the last page shown in the forum menu.  Invariably, the first post on the last page is one I haven't read yet, so I've probably missed several new posts from the previous page.  I then have to scroll down to find the page selection to change to the previous page.  If it were at the top, one simple click with no scrolling and voila, I'm there.

IMHO, it would make the forum easier to use - which is what AP is all about.

I don't like change, but I will get accustomed to it. It seems it requires more selections to get to the Forums. How about adding a spell checker??

iFly Team: I've added all of these suggestions to my list.  After Sun-n-Fun I'm going to make another pass to tune in this new website of ours.

Thanks!
Walter

Nice. But minor glitch you're already aware of I see, deflates my ego:

I notice I've so to speak lost my seniority credibility (assuming I ever had some) in that it shows me as "Joined: 3/21/2017" when IIRR I joined about July 2011.

That's also looking a bit inconsistant with it reporting for me "Posts: 184".

The number is accurate, but I'd have had to have been rather compulsive to post 184 posts since March. ;-)

Hi Walter!

Is the "Delete" feature missing?

I see the option to edit a post I've made exists.

IIRR (maybe not?) I believe in the old forum I had also the option to delete a post I made.

Whether or not that was so, IMO it has a legit function:

For example, a few minutes ago I posted a reply that probably would better have been posted as a new post under its own subject line in a different subforum. If I now post it into the "right" subforum I'd be creating the forum annoyance of cross-posting.

Or sometimes with hindsite I may realize I posted in an inappropriate subforum and wish to delete and repost. And although I hope I've never been guilty of this, there could be a time when I or someone in retrospect decides their post was inappropriate and out of forum etiquite.

I realize that having members delete posts out of existing threads can create confusion and generally weaken the integrity of the record, but I suggest that a poster should at least have the ability to delete a post before anyone has replied.

You think?

Alex
