I also wich my email address was not requested, I like the old User name Idea better

I never had an avatar before, but now that they're featured more prominently I thought I mgiht add one. I tried to edit my profile to do so, but can't find an option to upload an avatar. How does one do that with the new forum software?

Good question! Judging by the number of profiles lacking any graphic, I would venture to guess many users share our need for additional directions

Have you gone to your profile and added a picture?

Below the top line header click "My Settings", then "Profile", then "Edit Profile", then select a file from your computer with the pic or whatever you want shown, then click "Upload File". The file will then show on your avatar spot. Back out and you should see the pic when you next post.
