As some of you may already know, today is my last day with the Adventure Pilot team. It’s been an amazing 6 years and I’ll cherish them always. I will remain in the aviation industry as I’ve accepted a key position with DUAL so I hope to see many of you at upcoming airshows like Oshkosh, Sun n’ Fun and more.
Can you believe the strides iFly GPS has made with the new 740 and how the iFly GPS app just keeps getting better? It’s all because of great pilots and customers such as yourselves. I can honestly say, Adventure Pilot has some of the best customers that I’ve experienced in all my years to date.
This move comes with sadness and excitement at the same time. Many of you have become great friends and pilot acquaintances over the years. You’ve prayed for me during tough times and I’ve been blessed to have done the same for many of you. I just want to say “Thank You” for all the great collaboration and letting me experience your lives and flying times with you.
I truly felt like I was right there with you sometimes. Whether it was sharing the excitement of that new iFly 740s brightness, seeing your first ADS-B traffic/weather or helping you on that first update process.
This is a chapter of my flying career that has meant more to me than many of you know. I’ve never worked with customers, “fellow pilots”, that have been so genuine. Pilots are a class of their own. I just want to say “Thanks for everything”, as I make this final post as part of the Adventure Pilot staff.
Signing Off,
Shane Woodson
