I want 1090ES out and dual IN, don't think the other solutions have it but I might reconsider if I found out different. Also got to go with a device that the shop will support. I want the 1090ES out because it my understanding that is the best way to get my location into the cockpit of the fast movers in the airspace and to get theirs into mine.

Is my understanding correct?

I bought the Stratus ESG because I also wanted 1090 out and liked getting a new transponder in the deal to replace my 40+ year old ARC. I'm currently running a dual channel Stratux for ADSB in, which works very nicely with my iFly 720, and my Android devices. I'm now waiting to install the Stratus ESG in order to hopefully take atvantage of the $500 FAA rebate.

C177RG: iFly 720, Stratux 978/1090 ADS-B in, AHRS, BMP, Stratus ESG ADS-B out. RV-3: 8" Samsung Tab A, Stratux 978/1090 ADS-B in, AHRS, BMP, Stratus ESG ADS-B out.

Cessna SkyCatcher. Closing around 10/3. I don't have a medical and missed the PBORII by 45 days. I think my friend is going to sell his M20C. I had hoped to renew our partnership until I missed out on the PBORII. Dont want to chance a medical at this point.
