When I plug in a USB to serial adapter, a message box asks for the name of the driver, but no keyboard.

How do drivers get loaded? This is an FTDI.

What exactly are the runway feathers?

They are like the localizer approach on the IFR charts I think.

Please hurry with the manual updates. I think I am figuring out all of the new stuff but I'm sure I am missing something like the runway feathers.

Dan,

We will have cables ready in a couple of weeks. If you want to use your own you could try one with a Prolific chipset - FTDI is not supported. Also, what is your serial #? Some of the early units we shipped do not have the drivers loaded and we'll need to send you an SD card to flash upgrade your unit.

I like the runway extension line very much! I wanted that from the beginning, so it's great to have. The Airport Info screens are better for sure.

The issue I'm having is that the touchscreen seems to be variously super-sensitive or semi-responsive. Trying to move the map to another area always makes an option box pop up, and they are slow to disappear. Scroling down the airport info box is challenging, and that's just sitting at my desk chair. Yet often touching one of the menu buttons requires two or more attempts before it responds. Anyone else having this issue? Is it a hardware problem? Is it a stupid-user problem...? :)

Robert,

Are you using a screen cover or protector of some sort? If so, try removing that. Also, the fleshy part of the finger doesn't work well for some folks if you are touching the screen lightly - you can try either pressing firmly with your finger, or try using your fingernail or a stylus. The screen is very strong, you won't scratch it with your fingernail.

Hope this helps
