Guys, the ram adapter for my 740 failed. Went to the airport to test out the floght plan sharing and found my 740 on the floor. The adhesive beween the rubber pad and the hard plastic connector failed.

How quickly can I get a replacement or is there a better method of attaching the two peices?

Call Ed at iFly and ask for the new improved model. Took me about a week and it arrived today. Use screws, nuts and bolts, etc. to keep it together in the meantime. You'll discard it when the new one comes.

Tim,

Arthur is correct - some of the original 740 RAM Adapters were not bonded correctly, looks like you have one of those. Call us and we can ship you a replacement.

Thanks,
Walter

I just responded to the support people with an address for the new one to ship to. Was thinking of trying to epoxy the old one but they want it returned.

As a side note when I sat down inthe plane I looked and thought someone had stolen my iFly, I nearly paniced LOL.

I wonder if JB weld would do the trick as an epoxy bond.
