IIRR I once asked this before, but STILL don't have clear what's going on.

iFly has a nice feature in that when nearing destination it'll say, essentially, start descending at, for example, 660 feet per minute.
Of course not cast in stone, and needs to be adjusted based on pilot judgement.
But useful.

Sometime this comes up automatically.
Other times (more often than not?) iFly never says a peep about descent rate suggested.

Can someone educate me?

One reason could be that in a multi leg flight, you will need to set the option of 'Landing' in the 'Flight Plan', otherwise iFly thinks it's just a waypoint you will be passing over..
