Just an FYI for the powers that be.

It appears that FlightPro nee Avilution, an early and popular entry into the Andoid EFB market may be gone. I've seen posts by users in two different places that they are getting no response from the company and seeking a replacement. In one case the person is already looking at iFly; in the other, I sent him here with my strong recommendation.

It may present a marketing opportunity. I leave that up to Walter and the gang.

And here I am, Mark.. I'm still wondering about the seamless charts..

I was a big proponent of the other EFB, and I am MASSIVELY disappointed in this turn of events. I liked a lot of what I saw in the IFlyGPS App, but the lack of seamless charts was a major turnoff. I'm hoping you have that coming soon!

I bought a year's subscription to FlightPro before I tried iFlyGPS, which I much prefer. Now the FlightPro app is bugging me to renew. Glad I saw this thread here before I did that. FlightPro did have some good features, pity it went Tango Uniform. But I just renewed my iFlyGPS sub for another year and look forward to the new release!

I guessing that by now most of the users of the "other" app have received the email from the General Counsel. One can speculate just as easily on a scenario in which it continues and a scenario in which it doesn't. Until one or the other happens, we just don't know.

Well, I have been watching iFly GPS ever since they first started. Finally after the RMSTek guy retired and I moved to Avilution (FlightPro) and now there is litigation going on there, I finally decided it is time to move to the IFly Android app.

I am really disappointed with the FlightPro guys. I had even loaned they my SkyRadar DX to then so they could program their application. They never did get the traffic to display.

I hope I will be happy with iFly!
