The NavWorx solution is an interesting option for ADS-B out. I am also looking at the Trigg Mode S transponder. I use it as part of a Skyview system and it works well. The Class II versiion is 2020 compliant if paired with a TSO'd GPS source. I suspect we will see a bunch of TSO'd pucks on the market come 2020 (provided the FAA does not push this date).

Using the Trigg will get me Out. What are the affordable wireless In options for the IFly 720? What is the compaibility issue with the XGPS170 that prevents it from working with the 720? Any timeline for addressing this issue?

Thanks, Bill Hart

The iFly 720 supports WiFi and Serial connections to ADS-B. The Dual XGPS-170 is Bluetooth, therefore it won't work as an option for the 720. It will work with the iFly GPS app for iPad or Android though. We've looked at BT dongles, but they will not work with our OS. We've also asked Dual to provide us with a USB driver so we could support a wired connection, they don't support our OS.

You might check out the PathFinder from Flight Data Systems, it's WiFi and they have a Portable and Remote mount option. It's very affordable at about $549. Hope this helps.

Awesome. My next question was what works with IFly wirelessly and you answered it.

Thank You
