I have a few questions about my options pertaining to acquiring ADSB capability with my 700. I note that the Skyguard transceiver is designed to work with the 720 so my questions are:
What is/are the transceiver option(s) for the 700?
Would it be best to upgrade to the 720/Skyguard package or can I get the ADSB transceiver functions via the new iPad/Android app along with the Skyguard unit?
Is there a receiver-only option for the 700 that could fill the gap until I'm ready to upgrade to the 720/Skyguard combo?
Will there be any possiblity of a trade-in of my 700 or does that end after a certain number of years?
I'm still a ways from making a move but I want to get the best info prior to that. In the meantime, the 700 has performed wonderfully, especially since I purchased the external antenna at Airventure 2013. Thanks again to the entire AP team for such an outstanding product line and even more outstanding support. I hope to see you all again at Airventure 2014.
