the deal Foreflight has with NavCanada is as crazy as the rest of aviation services here.
90% of General aviation is guys who fly from their little town to a big city or fly-in, or from their big city airport to a little airstrip, all within a 500 mile radius....with the occasional trip to a neighbouring province.
What we need is a $20 digital chart for our home province, or maybe two, south of the 60th parallel....not a $150 annual subscription to 9 million square miles of data that we will never see.
IF you can somehow find other data that will be useful in getting from A to B safely, I'm all for it. I haven't seen the digital VNC charts, but the paper ones were almost unreadable, with all the bold purple print, and airways and contours in mountainous terrain.
