Altitude - assigned altitude displayed next to current altitude

Altitude - assigned altitude displayed next to current altitude

Flying both IFR and VFR, it's good to maintain an assigned or selected altitude. Particularly for IFR flying, it would be good if I could enter my assigned altitude via the remote (up and down by 100 feet would be good!) and have it displayed next to the current altitude (maybe in a different font or color so I don't confuse it with the current altitude?). I'll be using the planes altimeter as my main MSL height indication but I always need a reminder of my last assigned altitude since it changes based on what ATC tells me.

Why not add altitude and heading?

When vectored by ATC, we need to remember the assigned altitude and heading. Showing the assigned values next to the GPS values would be handy. Anyone else would like this?

I understand the interest, but honestly it would be just one more thing to enter on the iFly for me and one more thing that would cause me to put my head down and not look out the window. I have no trouble remembering the altitudes, although I do jot them on my scatch pad on my kneeboard. I have other priorities including such as more fluid ways to look up VOR freqs and airports, locking the flight plan so the modify flight plan box stays away, and a small warning in the corner when you are below the highest obstacle height for a lat/lon grid etc

I think this would a good feature. It could be customizable so people who don't want it don't have to clutter their screen, but should be easy for those who want it. I would add frequency to the list, yes I have the current freq in the com, but it's nice to have the last freq handy in case you mess up a digit. All things we write down and aren't a huge deal, but if they are easy to code...
