I would like to see warning messages refined.  It never fails that I have a target uncomfortable close on ADS-B or am in a busy pattern and suddenly have a pop-up warning that I need to clear.  It distracts from situational awareness.

  • Chart expired warnings: Should only appear at power up/boot time.  Feel free to notify that multipe charts are expired.
  • More options to disable certain warnings in set up.  I don't care if an ADS-B tower is out of range.  I've got the ADS-B instrument available for that.
  • Same for traffic warnings.  I find the aircraft target indicator going yellow, then red sufficient.  I don't need a pop-up box blocking the view at a critial jucture.  I would like the option to disable the warning box in set up.

P.S. - You've got a great product.  These are minor nits that would further improve it for those of us that like to customize our gear.

Ought to be flying instead of posting.

Honest question:  Have you tried Menu > Setup > Alerts and Warnings > Traffic Alerts, and un-checking the "Enable Traffic Alerts" checkbox?  (I'm sure this will stop the warning boxes from popping up.  What I'm not sure about is if it also stops traffic targets from turning yellow / red.)
