Would like to see weather briefings from the flight plan page in plain English rather than coded.

+1; and a useable winds aloft chart like the one on the airport weather screen.

Maybe a year ago I suggested to Shane that he look at the WX presentations at weathermeister.com and steal whatever ideas he could. Weathermeister is the only web site that gets subscription money from me. Among many other things, I like the the (plain Englist) information is color coded, so issues really jump out at you. This is true of METARs, TAFs, PIREPs, ... really everything.

Shane seemed receptive, so I'm hoping that they have something in the pipeline. (Shane?)

Tinker,

It's on our wishlist. I think it is a nice clean presentation approach and it's in the hands of our development team. Some of this has to do the fact that the weather briefing is coming directly from Lockheed Martin. We would have to reformat that data on the fly. This is something I've asked more info about. I'm sure it can be done, but not currently a top priority tweak.

Any update on Plain Language?

Lockheed actually does the translation if one get's the briefing at 1800wxbrief so I would think they could do the translation before transmitting to iFly?
