Nexus 7 (2013) & iFly700 - I would like to suggest another ‘instrument’ to be available to those who might want it on the screen. We have now a ‘Flt Duration’ timer. I use this all the time. It begins timing when I takeoff and stops when I land. That’s good. If I don’t reset it myself, when I takeoff again it resets itself to zero. What I would like in addition to this is a ‘Total Flt Timer’ (or some other appropriate name) that would not automatically reset on the next takeoff. When I do my local flying, I frequently stop at one or more other airports before returning home. I would like to have a timer that would record my total flying time for the day rather than resetting on my takeoff from an intermediate airport. I would choose to have both on my screen. This additional timer should have a similar ‘manual reset’ to the existing timer. Another possibility is to have a ‘setup’ choice where we could choose to not have the current timer automatically reset on the next takeoff.

Hi Jim - But then we (pilots) would not have an excuse for wearing watches as big as alarm clocks on our wrist! ;) Jim Williams
