Fuel prices are a significant part of flight planning these days. Is there any thought on including a database that would be accessable in planning or in flight? These days it is not uncommon to find $1.00+ variations between airports or even FBO's on the same field.

George,

This is something we are working on. There are only a few providers of Fuel Prices and many are very expensive. We are looking at a possible Pilot support Fuel price network that is seeded with current prices. We'd make it easy to report and submit new prices. This is a high priority on our feature list. Thanks for the feedback.

Does "Pilot support Fuel price network" mean that such a think currently exists, and you're contemplating joinint/integrating it, or that you're contemplating starting a "Pilot support Fuel price network comprised of pilots/FBO's (mostly iFly owners/users)" that would submit prices to someone/something at iFly and that would be integrated into a database uploaded into the iFly?

George and Mike: I created a favorites direct link to www.100lowlead.com in the Opera browser on my 720. This allows me to create a flight plan in Navigation, then go to the browser to check prices along my route. It is not nearly as slick as being able to see the fuel prices right on the the Airport Information page in Navigation, but it does get the job done so long as I am near a WiFi hotspot, which is usually the case when I am flight planning. ===== Ralph

Ralph,

Great tip. That's a nice workaround until we get fuel prices added to the iFly. You're a great asset to our forums. Thanks very much.
