I did not understand it either. But after I plugged in the USB cable, several of the buttons would no longer work. That was the only thing changed since the last use. I noticed that pressing one button engaged the adjacent button. I recalibrated the screen and that problem went away.

I have seen the unit act up a little if USB attachements are being mixed and matched. Especially if you remove a USB Flash drive and then insert the SkyRadar cable. If you see something like this, a reboot should correct the problem.
