It's nice that you show the CTAF (or TWR) frequency for an airport in the popup box, but what I actually always need to know before I use the comm frequency for an airport is the frequency for the automated weather report (AWOS/ASOS/ATIS). So, I'm always having to press on the airport, then press on the Airport Info button (then scroll down if using landscape mode or on my phone). Even if I'm just flying near an airport I often want to know what the current weather is, versus the probably-older weather being reported via ADS-B (which also requires 2 touches to see). And if I'm flying to a towered airport, I definitely need the ATIS info before contacting the tower.
So, can you find a way to put the weather-reporting frequency in the QuickView box? Or has this been discussed and rejected before? I find it hard to believe that no one else has asked for this. Am I missing something obvious? I'm sure you want to keep the QuickView box small. I think adding an additional frequency line in the default APT tab would only make the total box about 15% taller -- so, not a huge change. But you could also just make it an option (defaulted to off) whether to display the weather freq in QuickView.
Or (though don't like this as much as having the wx freq show in the default QuickView APT tab): you could probably find a way to fit the wx freq into the info that's shown on the WX tab in QuickView. It looks like there's room below the DnsAlt line. To see it would involve an extra tap (to select the WX tab), which is problematic in turbulence due to the small tab size, but it's still less trouble than looking for the wx freq in the large amount of info that comes up with the Airport Info button. (Yes, it's organized, and there's a Communications section, but you have to scroll to that section, then read the labels [which differ in number and what they say for each airport] to find the wx freq. It's more time than I want to spend with my head down in my cockpit.)
Thanks.
