WIFI connection with Dynon Skyview

I know this has been asked in the past. I am about to complete construction of a Van's RV-12 with a Dynon Skview unit. Dynon sells a WIFI dongle that communicates with Foreflight. Any chance that iFly software on my iPad can now (or will soon) communicate with the Dynon?

It will soon, but I've found they are not using standard GDL90 messages for adsb, so currently it's not working. It's on our short list, we have a lot of customers waiting on this feature.

I look forward to using iFly in my RV-12 as a supplement to my Dynon Skyview- hopefully soon!

Walter, my Van's RV-12 is now flying (it competed Phase 1 flight testing last week). It has a Dynon Skyview with a Dynon WIFI adapter installed. Will iFly on my iPhone, iPad, and 740 be able to communicate with my Dynon any time soon?

Jim,

We have all the specs, an agreement from Dynon to integrate, and we have a Dynon SkyView sitting on my desk - we're ready to get started with a full blown integration. We don't have a date yet, but it is getting closer. 10.2, with Synthetic vision is about to be released. I think Dynon integration is on the short list for an update following 10.2.
