Glad we finally brought up posting behavior and etiquette here...
I was starting to become a "regular poster" over the last few months who contributed ideas, thoughts and photos....until I started getting lambasted for asking simple questions.
Just a word to the many guest self-proclaimed experts on this site...many/most of us are NOT computer experts, but pilots who use computers to enjoy flying. Please do not post statements inferring or insinuating people are "stupid" or "lazy" because we are not experts in your field of computer science or your hobby of developing or altering software. We are all experts at something - show a little respect and restraint please.
So, when you are directly condescending and insulting, it turns us off and away from posting on this site anymore - we just don't need the hassle and we don't want to "wrestle with the pig" by engaging in useless banter back and forth, or meaningless verbal retaliation with nothing to do about flying or Ifly products. We can easily take your petty and sophomoric comments, we just don't want to.
This is a GREAT SITE and I have learned a great deal. I'll continue to check-in and learn what I can.
It's too bad a few of the frequent posters act like this is "their" site and think it is OK to be rude. Please grow up.
IFly Staff - keep up the great work and thanks for tolerating so much BS from people you are trying to assist.
Thanks...I consider the matter closed and will refrain from responding. Let's get back to flying!
Regards, Mike
