Does, or will the iFly support wireless communications with Mode S transponders like the Lynx NGT9000 and Sandia STX 360 that offer wireless weather, traffic, and FIS-B features?

Amen to flying. It's beautiful here. Yes, iFly GPS will work with the Lynx NGT9000, just select FreeFlight as the wireless device. We are adding Lynx to the Connected device list in our v9.4 update as well as Stratux. We'll be adding more as confirmed. My suggestion for other models, like Sandia, is to connect to it via wifi, then go through the list if Wireless Devices in the "Connected Devices", pause on each one for about 30 seconds. If you see heartbeats counting up, take it for a test flight.

A related question. I already have an iLevil SW. If I install the Navworx ADS600-EXP for ADS-B In/Out and use iLevil SW for the AHRS, are the wireless signals going to conflict?

You'd have to use those devices on seperate tablets or devices. Each tablet or device can only connect to one WiFi at a time. I'd probably sell the iLevil SW or use as portable backup and then get the SkyGuardTWX VP+EX w/ AHRS. For $1,899, you'd have a EXP/LSA compliant ADS-B In/Out and it has the iLevil G-Micro AHRS built into it. It's an all-in-one solution.

With that said, it would only be compliant when installed into an EXP or LSA aircraft. Give me a call in the office later today and we can discuss this more if you want.

I have to agree that the SkyGuardTWX VP+EX w/ AHRS pushes all the right buttons.

On a tangent, any plans to offer a panel mount docking station for the iFly?
